Arrive in Tashkent

Arrival Tashkent airport. Meet and assist by Golden Planet Guide in Tashkent, Transfer to you hotel in Tashkent.

Tashkent-Flight to Urgench, Khiva

Morning flight from Tashkent to Urgench, visiting Khiva after arrival in Khiva. In the morning you will have a flight to Urgench, then transfer to Khiva. Today you will have a wonderful sightseeing tour in the oldest city of Uzbekistan. It will be inside of Ichan-Qala, the inner city in Khiva rounded with strong walls. Centuries old sound buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and Bathhouses transformed Ichan-Qala into unique city-monument.

Khiva-Bukhara

Early in the morning we will go to the fascinating city of Bukhara.  With its more than 140 architectural monuments, Bukhara is a "town museum" dating back to the golden age of the silk road. On the way, we will enjoy the view to Amu Darya river, the deepest river in Central Asia flowing into Aral See. Arrival in Bukhara, you will have some free time in Bukhara

Bukhara

Full day sightseeing tour in the fascinating city of Bukhara. we start with the most ancient citadel in Bukhara from 4th century. Then we will see Samanids mausoleum, a real masterpiece of architecture. Then we to Chashma Ayub, and Bolo-Hauz mosque. The ne the most famous madrasahs of Bukhara: Nodir Divan Begi which is also a part of Lyabi House. The tour will end with visiting Poi Kalon complex, consisting of three structures: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah.

Bukhara-Naqshbandi- Sumito- Bukhara

Today, We will have an excursion our of Bukhara. First you will visit Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex, located few kilometers from Bukhara. It is a memorial complex of a famous Sufi and Philosopher, Nakshbandi. Today’s complex consists of mosques of Kushbegi and Muzafarohana, courtyard with pool, madrasah, and burial vault of Bukhara rulers. Then you will drive to see the countryside residence of Bukhara Emirs named Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex. At last, you will drive to Sumiton village to find Chor Bakr memorial complex, the town of the dead. Return to Bukhara.

Bukhara – Nurata, Yurt camp of Nurata

In the morning, We transfer to a small town of Nurata, located in the foothills of Nuratau Mountains. Upon arrival, you will have a sightseeing tour that includes visit the Khasan- Khuseyn Mosque, blacksmith’s and potter’s workshops and a sacred pond with sacred fish. Also, you will visit the Medressa of Sheihun Hasan Nury, Mamazgokh Mosque and remains of so called "Alexander the Great’s Fortress”. Then we will continue the drive to yurt camp in dessert. Overnight at a yurt camp.

Nurata – Samarkand

We make a camel tour to aydarkul lake, the unique lake stretching for 250 km along the desert, try freshly cooked fish for a lunch, relax, swim in warm, slightly salted water and sun bath on the picturesque bank. Picnic lunch at the lake. Drive to Samarkand, en route stop over at Sariamish stone carvings to see more than 3 000 carvings on black basalt rocks-petroglyphs. Arrival at Samarkand hotel

Samarkand B/L/D

Samarkand is situated in the valley of the river Zerafshan. It is the second largest city of Uzbekistan. Today you will visit some great sights such as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square, a complex of three fascinating Madrasahs. Architectural complex of Shakhi-Zindeh represents a big collection of mausoleums being a part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque was built in honor of favorite Tamerlane’s wife.  Afternoon drive to Tashkent. Dinner with dancing show program.

Samarkand- Tashkent (350 km, 4.5 hrs drive) B/L/D

Today you will continue exploring Samarkand city. You will visit Ulughbek observatory from 15th century. In this observatory Ulughbek created in 1437 the Zidji Guragoni catalog, which had information about 1018 celestial bodies surrounded by souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. Visit to Siab oriental bazaar, where it is easy to find Uzbek traditional souvenirs and local sweets. Afternoon transfer to Tashkent.

Tashkent – Kokand – Fergana

After breakfast, you will be transferred to railways station of Tashkent to depart to the town of Kokand . Upon arrival at Kokand, you will have the city tour of Kokand. Here we will visit Khudayar Khan Palace, Modari Khan Mausoleum and Norbutabi Madrasah who was the greatest spiritual school in Kokand. After the visits we go to Rishtan to visit a pottery workshop and learn about pottery making.  Then we go to Forgana. Transfer to the hotel at Fergana

Fergana – Margilan – Tashkent

In the morning, you will visit Fergana regional museum with fantastic collection of artefacts. The museum collection counts more than 80 thousand exhibits. Then we will end our visit with the national park of Fergana after which we drive to the town of Margilan. Here we visit a silk producing factory. After that, we will catch the train from Fergana to Tashkent. Overnight Tashkent.

Tashkent

Full day is dedicated to a sightseeing tour in Tashkent. Arrival in Tashkent, today you will visit Independence square, which is the main square of the country, then we will have a chance to walk along the local Broadway. Then you will visit the old part of the city which includes: Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that consists of several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleums. Overnight Tashkent.

Flight back home

Transfer to the airport and fly back home.
