Arrival in Moscow, Golden Planet guide will meet and assist you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Moscow

Today we will have a full-day sightseeing in Moscow, visiting Sparrow Hills, Moscow University, Tretyakov Gallery. At Sparrow Hills, you’ll see the panorama of the city, Moscow University, main streets and squares. At the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian national art museum in Moscow, you will see the incomparable wealth of Ancient Russian art and stunning paintings from the 14th to the 19th centuries.

Moscow

Today we will enjoy visiting magnificent places and sites including Kremlin, Red Square, Lenin’s Tomb, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Gum Dept. we explore the Kremlin and Cathedrals Square to visit the ancient territory of the heart of Moscow, where Russian Tsars were crowned. Finally, we’ll go to the Moscow Metro and see some of the most unique stations, which were decorated in marble, granite, and chandeliers during Stalin’s era.

Moscow

Shopping: We’ll see the fancy Okhotny Ryad underground shopping center near the Kremlin (also known as Manezh).  Finally we’ll find some time for last minute shopping and once again shop along Arbat Street for matrushkas, etc.

Moscow - St Petersburg

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport, flight from Moscow to the beautiful city of St Petersburg. Arrive in St Petersburg. Transfer to our hotel in St Petersburg.

St Petersburg

Get ready for a full-day tour of St Petersburg or Vince of the North. Our visit includes

the former residence of Russian Tsars, the Hermitage which is beautifully decorated with paintings and sculptures and houses almost three million exhibits. Then we visit Peter and Paul Fortress, an outstanding architectural monument and the burial place of Russian Romanov Czars. We will also enjoy the architectural monument of St. Isaac’s Cathedral.

St Petersburg- Peterhof- St Petersburg

After breakfast you will enjoy an excursion to Peterhof (Grand Palace) the former summer Palace of the Czars.  Peter the Great built a series of palaces to the west of St. Petersburg to rival Versailles in Paris. The combined ensemble is known as Peterhof (Peter’s Palace).  The Fountains are an attraction by themselves. In the afternoon, we visit Nevsky Avenue, St. Petersburg’s Champs-Elysées.

St Petersburg- Pushkin- St Petersburg

Today, we will visit Pushkin Palace and Parks in the small town of Pushkin. Here we will visit one of the highlights of the trip, Catherine the Great’s Palace and park, located 12 miles from St. Petersburg. Return to St Petersburg.

Day 9

St Petersburg – Fly Home

Breakfast at the hotel.  Transfer to the airport for our flight back home. Bon Voyage!
