Takhkent-Flight to Urgench, Khiva
Arrival Tashkent, today you will visit the Independence square which is the main square in Tashkent, Then we will have a chance to walk along the local streets. Then you will visit the old part of the city which includes: Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that consists of several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleums. Evening flight to Urgench, transfer to Khiva hotel.
Today you will have a wonderful sightseeing tour in the oldest city of Uzbekistan. It will be inside of Ichan-Qala, the inner city in Khiva rounded with strong walls. The most remarkable sites in it are the Kunya-Ark fortress, Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, an incredible sample of Khorezm architectural mastership.
Early in the morning we will go to the fascinating city of Bukhara. With its more than 140 architectural monuments, Bukhara is a "town museum" dating back to the golden age of the silk road. On the way, we will enjoy the view to Amu Darya river, the deepest river in Central Asia flowing into Aral See. Arrival in Bukhara, you will have free time in Bukhara
Full day sightseeing tour in the fascinating city of Bukhara. we start with the most ancient citadel in Bukhara from 4th century. Then we will see Samanids mausoleum, a real masterpiece of architecture. Then we to Chashma Ayub, and Bolo-Hauz mosque. The ne the most famous madrasahs of Bukhara: Nodir Divan Begi which is also a part of Lyabi House. The tour will end with visiting Poi Kalon complex, consisting of three structures: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Dinner will be at a nice local restaurant, following by dancing show program.
Bukhara- Gijduvan- Samarkand
After breakfast, we will visit Gizhduvan which is home for the sixth generation of potters from Narzullayevs family which glorified Gijduvan school ceramics all over the world. Gijduvan School is distinguished by geometric patterns. On the way, we will visit memorial complex of Al Bukhary who was a remarkable Islamic scholar. Afterwards we continue driving to Samarkand.
Samarkand is situated in the valley of the river Zerafshan. It is the second largest city of Uzbekistan. Today you will visit some great sights such as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square, a complex of three fascinating Madrasahs. Architectural complex of Shakhi-Zindeh represents a big collection of mausoleums being a part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque was built in honor of favorite Tamerlane’s wife. Afternoon drive to Tashkent. Dinner with dancing show program.
Samarkand- Tashkent (350 km, 4.5 hrs drive)
Today you will continue exploring Samarkand city. You will visit Ulughbek observatory from 15th century. In this observatory Ulughbek created in 1437 the Zidji Guragoni catalog, which had information about 1018 celestial bodies surrounded by souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. Visit to Siab oriental bazaar, where it is easy to find Uzbek traditional souvenirs and local sweets. Afternoon transfer to Tashkent.
Tashkent-Chimgan Mountains-Tashkent- Flight home
This morning, we will transfer to Chimgan Mountains. Then we will use the chair lift to reach the top to see Beldersay peak. Free time for walking around, enjoying the landscapes and nature. On the way back you will stop over at Charvak lakeside beach for free time and own water activities. Charvak is an artificial lake, a popular resort in Tashkent region and thousands of holiday makers from all over Uzbekistan and neighboring countries visit the reservoir.
Flight back home
Transfer to the airport and fly back home.
